Springfield Armory M1 Garand August 1943 Rebuilt Post War
Description:
Here is a Springfield Armory M1 Garand initially produced in August of 1943 and subsequently rebuilt post war. This rifle sports an unmarked post war barrel, a 6555382 HRA operating rod, a mixture of WW2 and post war internals, a -17 SA bolt, and a post war adjustable T105 rear sight. The trigger group sports a -12 SA housing, -9 SA hammer, SA -11 safety, and a stamped trigger guard. The stock has a 1/2" square DOD cartouche with a circle P proof mark on the pistol grip. The hand guards and wood sports dings and dents commensurate to a service rifle but are in good serviceable condition and ready for several more years of use. This will be a great affordable M1 to add to a collection and enjoy on the range.
