Springfield M1 Garand Made in 1942 – Excellent EMcF Stock- Type II Lockbar Rear Sight Not British Proofed

Description:
For sale is a super nice early war M1 Garand rifle made by Springfield Armory in June 1942 s/n 693918. This rifle is not marked with British proofs. The condition of the wood is excellent with no noticeable dings or scratches. Finish on the receiver rates about 90% with nice gray-green tone. Both the barrel and receiver appear to have been reparkerized long ago. The stock and handguards are excellent and have not been sanded. Authentic EMcF cartouche and small ordnance wheel are very lightly stamped, but clearly visible. Short channel stock with circled serifed P proof and rack number 3 on the grip. Grooved rear hand guard clip. Squared cliplatch cutout. Receiver is marked  C I 9 B  D28291-17. Narrow base gas cylinder retains approximately 80% of the original finish. Front sight seal is intact. Type II lockbar rear sight with long pinion. Both elevation knob and windage knob are knurled. Barrel is marked  SA 6-42 upside down. Op rod is SA-3 with early small post war relief cut. Short fork follower rod, bolt is SA-12. Clip latch is round end. Arched lower band. Trigger housing SA-7, hammer SA-2, milled unmarked trigger guard appears to be reparkerized. Safety SA-6 with extra hole, follower SA-8, bullet guide unmarked without indents. No bevel follower arm drop forged marked S92. Operating rod spring is replacement. Camphered gas lock with single slot gas lock screw. Bore is good with no noticeable defects. TE 4, ME 2+. Solid, blued lower band pin. There are no import marks. or injury, including death, that may be sustained by Buyer/, or any of the property belonging to buyer/, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, or otherwise, while participating in such use.
2. Buyer/ acknowledges havingon and purchased a used firearm. Buyer/ is fully aware of the potential risks involved and hazards connected with any kind of use of such firearm, and buyer/ agrees to have said firearm examined by a competent gunsmith before attempting to fire  or in any way use said firearm. Buyer/ VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISKS OF LOSS, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, which may be sustained by buyer/, or any loss or damage of property owned by buyer/, as a result of any kind of use of this firearm, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.
3. Buyer/ hereby AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the RELEASEES from any loss, liability, damage or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that may incur due to use of said firearm by buyer/, WHETHER CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES or otherwise.
4. It is the express intent of buyer/ that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement shall bind the members of buyer/'s family and spouse, if buyer/ is alive, and buyer/'s heirs, assigns and personal representative, if buyer/ is deceased, and shall be deemed as a RELEASE, WAIVER, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO USE SUE the above-named RELEASEES. I hereby further agree that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas and specifically, Johnson County. 
IV. Return Policy
This item is sold with a three day non-firing return. Three day period begins with receipt at /buyer's designated delivery address. Disassembly is allowed. Buyer pays both initial and return shipping. Discharge of this firearm i.e. shooting, and/or damage of any kind including but not limited to scratches, take down marks, dents, etc. caused by but not limited to buyer, buyer's friends, relatives, or associates, and not readily identifiable in listing photos voids return, as does substitution or removal of any part whatsoever. 
V. Shipping and Insurance
Shipping cost does not include insurance unless specifically stated. We strongly advise insuring your purchase for a minimum of the purchase price. In the case of a  firearm lost or damaged in shipment, buyer/ is responsible for retaining all packaging, obtaining pictures of damaged item and packaging, and for notification of loss or damage to Kansas Military Firearms LLC within 48 hours of receipt or intended delivery time at buyer/'s designated delivery address. Filing and administering any and all claims with the delivering carrier is the responsibility of buyer/. Kansas Military Firearms LLC will promptly assist  buyer/ with said claim to the very best of our ability.
