Description: U.S. Springfield Armory M-1 Garand Rifle, serial # 3087260, cal. 30-06, with a 24" barrel and a good bore, barrel marked "3-S A 8 44", receiver # B29A over D 28291 34, bolt # D 28287-1W.R.A., trigger housing # D 28290 BMB, trigger guard BMB, hammer # C 46008 BMB, safety unmarked, Op Rod # D 35382 SA, the metal is parkerized with 92%+ remaining with some wear on the gas cylinder and high points or edges of the metal, the wood is stamped with two P proofs in the grip area followed with a number 576776 stamped on the lower buttstock and in the wood where receiver sits, there is also one visible SA/S cartouche on the left side of the buttstock, rifle comes with CMP document, overall a nice Garand rifle in very good condition.
