USGI Springfield M1D Garand 6-43 Receiver 1-52 Barrel Integrated Scope Base Certified CMP Service Grade .30-06 Serial #1673xxx w/ Docs

Description:
Springfield Armory M1D Garand sniper model, serial #1673xxx, .30-06 caliber, CMP Certificate of Authenticity, receiver manufactured June 1943, SA barrel dated 1-52 with integrated scope base (receiver base). The muzzle gauges at 1+ and throat erosion is 3. The receiver has a lead-dipped heel. The rifle has a "DRC"-marked T105 rear sight, SA bolt #D28287-19SA, and Winchester trigger guard #C46025 W.R.A. There is also a faintly visible hand-labled number 2741130 on the right top side of the bolt (only visible under certain lighting).

The walnut stock and handguards have normal wear and handling marks such as dings and scratches and the grip area has a circle cartouche with an off-center "P" on the underside. No other cartouches are visible. There are two small screw holes on the bottom side of the stock between the grip and sling loop. These screw holes may have been used to secure a leather cheek pad (not included).

This rifle comes with one 8rd enbloc clip, CMP hard case, M1 manual, chamber flag, cable lock, CMP certificate, and original CMP invoice. This rifle is being sold as received from the CMP and includes a blue CMP grading card and a military unit hang tag.

NOT included: scope, scope mount, leather cheek pad, flash hider or any other accessories that may have been issued by the US military with M1D rifles.

Service Grade Description from CMP ==> *RM1DS (Service Grade M1D): Good to very good condition. Rifle wear will be exhibited by worn and mixed colors of finish; there may be pitting on the metal parts; wood may be walnut, birch, beech or other variety and will be basically sound but may have minor hairline cracks, dings, scratches, gouges; wood may not match in color or type of wood; bores will be generally good with only minor imperfections; the barrel crown may be nicked, but muzzle will gauge less than "3" and the throat erosion will gauge less than "5".

These rifles will not come with the scope and mount, leather cheek pad, flash hider or any other accoutrement that may have been issued with M1D rifles.

The scope base that is part of the barrel assembly is included and ready for a customer supplied scope and mount.
