Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer the classic M1 Garand. This rifle epitomizes American industrial might and “The Greatest Battle implement ever devised”. Made famous for its role as, the American service rifle of the Second World War and the Korean War, and its iconic “PING!” after emptying its magazine. This Garand, serial number 1228003, was manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms Company on August 1 (or July 31) of 1942. [1] The rifle has two proofs, a standalone “P” and a circle surrounding a “P”, furthermore, it’s been fitted with a Springfield Armory trigger group, and Harrington & Richardson barrel in 1952. It has a superb bore, and retains 85% fading factory finish on the barrel, receiver, and trigger group. This M1 comes with a sling, so you can throw it over your shoulder on the way back from the range. A perfect choice for any World War Two collector, just imagine the stories this M1 could tell!
