Winchester Receiver dated: May 1942 and has a low 6 digit SN. Bolt is Winchester Repeating Arms. The rest of this rifle is Springfield Armory and is a National Match set up rifle. See pictures. Stock has the wedges for tight fit and the front hand guard has the 2 screws for tight fit, only found on National Match M1's. Front sight is marked NM .062, and rear sight sight is marked NM24 and has the hooded aperture sight. The barrel is in excellent condition. I have no paper work certifying this, but I'm sure it is. This rifle operates flawlessly and you can expect pin-point accuracy at the range.Extras include a US M1 Garand carry case, Sling marked PKW 1944, Bayonet with the markings US 1943 and flaming bomb, and Scabbarb marked US with flaming bomb. 3 enbloc clips with 36 rounds of Surpllus ammo. 30 Cal. ball. (30 06). M1 Garand DOD Maintenence Manual also included. This rifle has been sitting in safe for years. I'm 81 and selling my collection.
