WW2 US PRE D-DAY WINCHESTER M1 M-1 GARAND RIFLE RECEIVER CIRCA FEBRUARY 1944. Serial number “23838xx” crisply stuck with same address above. “D” leg markings stamped into leg. Barrel threads and sight knurlings in excellent condition. Slight salt and pepper pin prick pitting in a couple of places from the period of use. ORIGINAL parkerized finish with no arsenal upgrade stamps. Very honest candidate for WWII M-1 Garand rebuild.
