"Serial no. 924802. Manufactured in 1929 by Ceskoslovenská Zbrojovka, chambered in 8mm Mauser, 24"" round barrel. Bore is good with light frosting noted, while the rifling remains strong and well defined. The original serial number has been struck out and a separate number applied, with the current serial falling within a range associated with VZ24 rifles supplied to Spain during the Spanish Civil War. The bolt numbers are matching. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, retaining an attractive military appearance with expected handling and service wear. Its unusual renumbering and serial range make this an interesting example with possible Spanish Civil War association. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
