"Serial No. A5416, manufactured 1955, .303 British, 25" round barrel. This is an outstanding example of the British Enfield No.4 Mk2, manufactured in 1955 and chambered in .303 British. The rifle remains in excellent, likely unissued condition, retaining its original factory finish with matching serial numbers throughout. The magazine is unmarked. The barrel is import marked on the right side. The stock is in excellent condition, showing only the lightest signs of handling. This late production Mk2 variant featured a refined trigger design, with the trigger mounted directly to the receiver rather than the trigger guard, offering a more consistent and crisp trigger pull. The action is smooth and functions correctly.
