This 6.5X52mm Italian caliber Model 1941 Carcano rifle is in fine condition. It is NOT import marked as many are. The approx. 27.5"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun hsa approx. 95% arsenal blue with some loss on the buttplate. The bright bolt has light brown staining. The top of the chamber is marked within a vertical rectangle with a crown over FAT over 42. This means that the rifle was made by the Terni Arsenal in 1942. The stock and receiver serial numbers match. The stock is very good with issue nicks and dings, especially on the right side in the trigger area. The left butt has the round Terni stamp dated 1942 over the serial number. The left side below the receiver has a rectangular SA stamp which signifies that the rifle went to Finland. The swivels and cleaning rod are present. The action functions correctly. This fine Model 1941 Carcano rifle that saw service in Finland is ready for your WWII collection.
