Description:
"Serial number 166714. Made by Eidgenössische Waffenfabrik Bern (""Federal Arms Factory Bern"") in 1928 with a 23.3-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Like most surplus Swiss military service rifles, this example is in very good condition for a gun that is almost a century old. The original factory blued finish is thinning on the receiver & on the barrel, but the it is nevertheless intact. The European Walnut hardwood furniture remains in serviceable shape although its pieces exhibit the dings & dents normally associated with military service. Comes with a leather sling & a matching 6-round detachable box magazine.
