"Serial No. B3178, manufactured 1960, 7.62x54R, 20 ½" round barrel. This Chinese Type 53 carbine, remains in untouched bring-back condition. The metal surfaces exhibit a uniform dark grey patina, suggesting long-term field exposure and storage. The stock is dark and shows expected handling impressions, consistent with use in tropical climates. Receiver is marked with clear Chinese characters and Factory “26" arsenal stamp, confirming its origin from the State Arsenal 26 (Jianshe). Action is smooth and functions correctly.
