"Serial no. 5091. Manufactured in 1944 by Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R, 20"" round barrel. Bore is dark with scattered pitting noted, though rifling remains visible. Serial numbers are matching except for the floorplate. The carbine remains in overall very good condition and notably has no import marks. The M44 was the Soviet Union's final wartime Mosin-Nagant carbine, featuring the permanently attached folding bayonet that distinguished it from earlier variants. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
