"Yugoslavian M48A Bolt Action Rifle 8mm (L2026-03313)
Description:
"Serial no. R23485. Manufactured circa 1954–1956,chambered in 8mm,23 ½"" round barrel. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are non-matching. The metal surfaces are thinning to a grey patina with noticeable high edge wear on the receiver, consistent with service use. Factory markings remain strong and clearly visible. The M48A represents a post-war Yugoslav continuation of the Mauser pattern rifle, built with a focus on durability and reliability during the early Cold War period. The stock is very good, showing light handling impressions. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
