1952 Swiss K31 Bolt-Action Rifle 7.5X55mm Matching Numbers w/ Matching Box Mag and 2 original stripper clips

Description:
Pre-owned Swiss K31 straight-pull bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss. The rifle is serial number 9811xx, which places its date of manufacture as 1952. The receiver, barrel ring, bolt body and magazine are factory numbers matching. The K31 uses a unique, formed phenolic resin-embedded paper stripper clip with a tinned metal edge to feed the 6-round detachable metal box magazine. The rifle has a two-stage trigger and the iron sights consist of a tangent rear sight and a hooded front sight post.

The barrel is 25.67" (652mm) and the bore has good rifling. The barrel has 4 rifling grooves and a twist rate of 1:10.63" (1:270mm).  The bluing on the receiver, barrel and magazine is in good condition with finish wear on the barrel band and rear of the receiver where the cocking lever/safety is. There is a Swiss shield crest on the top of the receiver and a small cartouche of a Swiss crest on the right side of the stock.  The hardwood stock is in good condition with normal signs of usage and wear.  There is a small import marking on the underside of the barrel that reads "SAMCO MIA FL".  The steel buttplate also shows normal wear.

This listing includes the K31 rifle, original box magazine as described above, and two original stripper clips.
