The wood on this one is better than usual for a gun that was in the sand trenches. There are handling indents from military usage, they are far less in number and severity than what I usually see on these rifles. There are no cracks in the grip area. There might be a short tight crack back at the rear shoulder strap mount but it could be a scratch instead, I have provided a photo for the buyer to judge. There are two tight cracks in the acre of upper forearm wood at the rear sight area, which is common for this rifle. No other cracks. Bore is fantastic on this one, shiny with well-defined grooving.
