Condition: Very Good Surplus Condition. Functions properly with good feed and ejection. Safety and trigger operate correctly. Bayonet remains in good condition and stows securely. Wood exhibits typical handling marks, dings, and impressions expected of a military rifle without signs of abuse. Bluing shows thinning throughout but remains present and attractive overall. Marked "RASHEED 7.62 Made in UAR." Serial Number 2488.  The Egyptian Rasheed is a scaled-down evolution of the Swedish Ljungman AG-42 system chambered in 7.62x39mm. Produced in limited numbers for the United Arab Republic (UAR), it is one of the rarest Cold War military semi-automatic rifles and highly sought after by collectors of military surplus firearms.
