Japanese Arisaka Bolt Action Carbine, serial # 0069723, cal. 6.5 mm, with a 19” barrel with a bright very good bore showing frosting and strong rifling throughout. The metal surfaces retain about 65% original blue finish overall showing light oxidation on the barrel, with fading and scattered oxidation on the bolt housing, bolt handle and receiver ring. The mum is ground. The scant pistol grip walnut stock is in good condition, bearing regimental number stampings. There is a small chip in the right rear handguard, along with scattered dings and dents consistent with a fielded weapon. Rifle is equipped with a standard front sight with side protectors and a rear ladder carbine sight. The overall condition as described is good plus to very good. Inv.: # 2-1695
