Description:
We are offering a Soviet SVT 40 that has not been refurbished.
The condition is that it has retained about  60% of the original factory finish.
The entire loss seems to be from handling; there are no rust patches. scrapes or dents. 
The bolt appears to be a factory error; the last number is only off by two digits
As usual, the magazine is hard to read, and it doesn't match.
The trigger guard assembly does not match.
The stock does indeed match thereceiver.
Be advised that there is no import marks anywhere.
The bore is quite bright, with well defined rifling and light scattered frost.
The receiver does have the sniper groove on each side.
The SVT has become Russia's iconic weapon of WW II and will keep increasing in value as it has in the past.
