Description:
This SVT 1940 is an interesting piece of machinery used from 1940 into the Vietnam conflict. There were over 1 million of these rifles produced and this is a very good representative of the model. The stock belongs to the rifle, but may have had some additional finish added to it. The metal looks good on this rifle. The bolt and the charging handle has a purple hue to it. From what I found, this was very normal due to the steel composition that these pieces were made from. 7.62X54R
