Very Nice French MAS Model 1936 Rifle

Description:
Serial #FG34235, 7.5mm French, 22 1/2” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome rifle that retains about 99% of the arsenal re-applied dark gray phosphate finish with only a few tiny spots of silvering on a few of the high edges and bearing surfaces of the matching numbered bolt. All markings are still crisp and legible and there is a small C.A.I. import stamp on the barrel near the muzzle. The wooden forend, handguard, and buttstock are in excellent shape with a handful of minor marks and small blemishes in the otherwise super military oil finish. The rifle is accompanied by a correct spike bayonet and an original tan leather sling in excellent, unissued condition. This is a nice example of a MAS-1936, armory refurbished to excellent condition. FFL or C&R
