WW2 Swedish AG-42B Ljungman Rifle by Carl Gustafs 1943
Description: Serial #1117, 6.5mm Swedish, 25 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1943 dated rifle and retains 85-90% of the original blue finish which has faded to a dark plum-brown in spots, has mild silvering on the projecting edges and bearing surfaces, and also has a SARCO import stamp on the underside of the barrel. The beech wood stock and handguard have light handling marks and blemishes scattered about the military oil finish, as well as a with-the-grain crack running from the nose of the handguard to the barrel band. The original brass armory disk is still present on the right side of the buttstock, and gives a nominal bore diameter of 6.49mm. The rifle comes with a single original magazine and cleaning rod, and is a very good-near fine example of a desirable Swedish rifle.
