Introduced during WW2 as a economic replacement for the US Springfield 1922 bolt action training rifle. Manufactured through 1949 with many purchased as markmanship training aids for the US Armed forces. Blue finished with hardwood stoccks and micrometer adjustable sights. US PROPERTY marked. Magazine is absent. Fine original condition with bright bore. C&R
