Remington 4S "Military Model" Rolling Block .22
Description: Remington 4S “Military Model” Rolling Block .22 short and long training rifle. Mfg. 1913-1923. These were thought to be bought by private military academies for young boys. 28” round barrel with musket type forend. Bayonet stud on barrel. Folding front sight with a folding rear ladder sight. The rifle is in approximately 60+% condition. There’s one small split in the butt stock on the right side (see picture). It’s solid with no signs of weakness. Some old corrosion at end of barrel but overall not bad. The bore is dark but serviceable. Overall this little musket rolling block is a nice example of a hard to find rifle.
