Scarce 1 of 5000 WWII Walther German Paramilitary trainer rifle, KKW, all matching, this example having the stock marked for NSKK (Transport Corps.) issue.
Description:
Standard configuration Walther Trainer rifle, drift adjustable serrated ramp front sight and tangent rear sight from 25-200 meters. Top of single shot receiver is marked with maker’s legend, the rear bridge with "KK Wehrsportgewehr". The right side of receiver marked with single line manufacturer information and location in Zella-Mehlis. Matching bolt. Smooth military style walnut stock, disc inserts for bolt disassembly, left side of stock marked with 1 1/4" high NSKK logo, with provision for sling. Factory cleaning rod present. Smooth steel buttplate marked “56/M137”.
Condition:
VG bright original salt blue with sharp edge wear as one might expect from a trainer rifle. The stock and forend have been refinished, the NSKK logo on the buttstock, deeply impressed, a few spots enhanced. Bright bore. Correct manual mechanics.
