SN: 3646396. Made in 1942 with a 17.75-inch barrel chambered for the .30 Carbine cartridge. This example is equipped with a November 1942-dated Inland barrel with bright bore, a flat bolt & a Type C straight hammer. The stock is an ""IO"" marked Type C low wood oval cut & it is paired with a tapered 2-rivet handguard with shallow groove. Both wood pieces exhibit the dings, dents & scratches that one would expect to see on a military service firearm that survived the Second World War & the Cold War. The gun went through a post-war service life extension rebuild, so it is also equipped with a milled adjustable rear sight assembly, M2 reinforced magazine release, a flip safety & a Type C bayonet lug barrel band. Overall condition is very good with thinning original factory finish across all the metal parts. Comes with an oiler, a post-war tropical ""seat belt"" type sling & a 30-round magazine with a ""hold open"" type follower. ""Blue Sky"" import mark on the left side of the barrel.
