03A4 "Z" prefix Reminton Sniper. Pristine metal and bore. Correct weaver scope and mounts. Beatiful green metal. Bore is perfect!
Stock is showing its age with dings, scratches and a GI was so bored he carved his initials in the wood.....cartouches are light but presant.
rifle was 90s DCM release. Was sold at estate sale. The owner did not like the heavy post reticle of the weaver so he installed a Weaver 4X in commercial Redfield rings Its a cool piece in itself as it was actually a sight on some sort of artillery. Same tube size as the weaver so I don't think this scope was sold commercially. Super clear optics and excellent finish. Super heavy matte finish with crosshair retcle that really enhances the rifle with stronger magnification and crosshairs.....and the rifle cycles perfect. These are hard to re scope. A Beuhler low mount safety has been installed and is perfect for both scopes.
Weaver is correct heavy postvreticle. Has a chip on the lense that shows up but does not effect anything.
All in all a super example of an A4. Everyone wants a rifle that's been carried .....here it is! There are faded rack numbers on both sides of the stock! These are appreciating fast! A sure piece of American history!!
