The National Ordnance 1903A3 is a commercial rifle assembled post-WWII using authentic U.S. military surplus parts built onto newly manufactured cast steel receivers. During the 1950s and 1960s, a surge in surplus military equipment hit the civilian market. Companies like National Ordnance in South El Monte, California, purchased these surplus parts and manufactured their own cast steel receivers to complete the rifles. Reputable ballistics testing confirms they are safe with standard or light M2 Ball .30-06 ammunition.

This 1903 A3 features a Remington barrel dated 11-43. Our muzzle wear measurement is 0+. Our throat wear measurement is 1. This indicates that this is essentially a new barrel. This rifle should be an excellent candidate for an 1903 A4 sniper build given the barrel condition and military parts used.

The rifle is in very nice condition. The stock has very few handling marks, and has no chips, gouges, scratches, or cracks. Floorplate and buttplate bluing are in excellent condition. Barrel's 2-groove rifling is clean and crisp.

Military-style leather sling is included with this rifle.

• US shipping only. If your item comes with a scope, we will detach it, package it separately, then include it in the shipped box unless specified otherwise by the purchaser. 
• Postage Costs include adult 21 yr old signature required fee to your FFL 01 or 03. 
• We will pay the shipping insurance for the amount sold.
• Purchasers can request any long gun (up to 48 inches in length) purchase to be shipped in a hard case for an additional $30 fee. Buyer will be responsible for any additional charges above the $50 shipping fee that may occur with hard case shipping.
• Additional fees may be added for long guns with exceptional dimensions and/or weight.
