EARLY 6 digit Inland M1 Carbine in as issued configuration

Here's another great M1 Carbine from my collection. It is an Early Inland M1 Carbine with a rare Saginaw Gear SG subcontracted receiver with a 6 digit serial number. It has a rare large font SG on the left side of the receiver by the front lug, and the rare wide rear tang. The barrel is Inland dated 8-43 and has a muzzle measurement of 2.4 and a bright bore with no issues. The barrel finish is original and there are no type 3 band scars or shadows.This carbine has all original metal parts for the serial number range and production date, including an Inland Flip Rear Sight, Inland Trigger Housing Internal Parts including its blued Inland HI marked type 2 dogleg hammer. The stock is an Inland Oval High Wood Type 2 marked IO in the slingwell and has a large Inland cartouche on the right, with an Inland early diagonal pattern dot pattern butt plate. The handguard is marked P-U and may be a lateral support or a war time replacement. This is a Fine Early Inland  M1 carbine that will make a great addition to your collection.
