Excellent Rock Island Armory M1903 in .30-06

Description:
Excellent used Rock Island Armory M1903 rifle chambered in .30-06.  This one will come to you as you see it, but I'll try to help with the description.  This is an extremely early Rock Island, SN 72053, that was rebuilt for WW2.  The barrel is marked SA over 6-42, bore is bright and shiny, looks mint.  Rifle has been parkerized and fitted with a replacement scant stock that is not proofed.  There is a small S in the cut off recess.  Rifle is in overall excellent condition, everything works as it should.  Includes the front sight cover shown, marked with US over a flaming bomb.  Early style checkered buttplate.
