Here's a Excellent Condition Example of a Johnson Automatic Rifle! 30-06 caliber. These Johnson Rifles where the U.S.M.C favorite over the M1 Garand during WW2 . U.S. Military chose the M1 Garand over the Johnson . In early 1942 a batch of these Johnson Rifles where Shipped to U.S.M.C.1st Parachute Battalion. By the Battalions Commander ! U.S.M.C.troops swore by them ! Condition is Excellent! Most all of the blue is still bright . With wear on edges and used areas . Markings are stilll strong and visible ! Wood is in Excellent condition. They added a cheek piece and a stock pad to the rear stock . There's a small crack by right side of tang area on rear stock . Forend is in Excellent Plus Condition.bore and mechanics are in excellent condition. Gun is in excellent working order . There's no sling with gun . Overall a Super nice Example!
