According to the serial number, I believe this to be a Irwin Pedersen M1 carbine. Which makes it a little rarer and more desirable than other M1‚s. This gun is in excellent condition. The wood stock is near perfect. Please look at the photos carefully.

Serial No. 3224964, made 05/43-01/44. Serial number indicates this rifle was made at Irwin Pedersen-Saginaw Gear.

.30 carbine, 18\" round barrel marked \"Saginaw S.G. Division/ General Motors\" Bore is bright with strong rifling visible. Metal is grey parkerized. Nicks visible in metal. Wood stock has extremely minor nicks, for its age it is near perfect. Action functions correctly.
