It bears the full suite of inspector's markings correct for SC and all components are in near-new condition finishes, as originally manufactured. The blued bolt has the typipical friction marks on the body but the finish overall is almost flawless. The four groove barrel is marked SC and dated 3/43. The bore is immaculate and gauges 0003.025 - or almost dead bang new. This exquisite rifle exihibits the typical WWII greenish manganeese parked finish, with a mixture of blued components, as is typical of an arsenal fresh SC 03a3. It also comes with a period correct, excellent condition flat-buckle sling and a Gotham front sight cover.
