      For your consideration. A guaranteed, rare, originaland correct US Springfield, M 1899 Krag Carbine. Serial # 3603XX. This 1899 Krag Carbine is in excellent original condition throughout. All features function as they should. The metal  markings are excellant and the metal finishes are original and excellecnt.The bore is excellent, mirror bright, without pitting or frosting. The rifling is also strong. The stock is in excellent condition. The stock has an excellent, correct 1901 inspectors cartouche and cirle "P" firing proof.. The stock does not have any alterations, cracks or gouges. The rear sight is a original and correct 1901 "C" marked Carbine sight, with the correct 1901 hanguard and matching "C" marked front sight blade, Also included is an original 3 piece cleaning rod and nickel oiler in the butt trap compartment. A rare, seldom seen, original, complete, correct and high condition Krag Cavalry Carbine. This carbine was most likely in the Spanish American War, possably Philipines Insurrection.
