A rare collectable INLAND 5 digit serial number M1 Carbine is offered out of my own personal collection. These first production block carbines rarely come up for sale and are usually an early receiver surrounded by a Frankenstein carbine. This is not that carbine. Description is as follows:
Inland receiver - serial # 59158 - early square trigger housing lug with recess - 3 on lug - few heiroglyphics.
Type 1 rear flip sight marked S on left side.
Inland Barrel - dated 9-42 - P proof - BI marked gas cylinder - typical heiroglyphics on the flat - long skirt - NO IMPORT MARK
