The rifle was manufactured in 17-18 and is based on the British Pattern 1914 Enfield (P14) rifle. The Enfield was used alongside the 1903 Springfield by the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe during World War I. It was issued to rear-echelon troops during WWII. The Winchester barrel is dated 3-18. This is in very good condition with a slightly frosty bore with strong rifling. No box. .30-06 Springfield
