Winchester, U.S. PROPERTY, Mod 70, Target Rifle, .30-06, c.1957, SN: 409738

Description:
 This Pre-64 Winchester Target rifle was acquired by the U.S. Military as evidenced by the “U.S. PROPERTY” mark. The crude electro pencil marking was a common practice with no thought of defacing a beautiful rifle. The bolt was numbered with the same electro pencil and matches the rifles’ number. The bore is bright and sharp, it looks new and gages “1.0” using a Garand muzzle gage. The rifle was made in June 1957 and now 68 years later remains in beautiful condition. There are holes and marks where the front sight base was removed. Slight scratches on the floorplate are the only other blemishes on the steel. The stock has only a few modest bruises that hardly detract from its’ overall beauty. This rifle will enhance any U.S. Military collection or would continue to serve as a fine target rifle. Classic Winchester M-70 rifle. Caliber .30-06 with a 24 in. barrel.  SN: 409738

ALL Federal, State, & Local firearms laws will be followed.  I will take NO shortcuts in the process of a legal sale or transfer, so please don’t ask.
SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with Signature required. Shipping and Insurance cost for this Long Gun is $80.00.

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.  Curio-Relic firearms, as defined by the BATF list, can usually be shipped to a Type 03 Collectors License address.
A signed valid FFL license copy will be required for shipment to the license address.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation that the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold as collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons.
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee. For Visa and MasterCard orders please provide the account number, code number, expiration date, name on card, phone number and card billing address.
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 40 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in-state purchases. The payment of other states’ sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers’ responsibility.
