The bore is good with light frosting noted in the grooves, while rifling remains strong and well defined. Serial numbers are matching throughout. The left side of the receiver is import marked. The rifle has undergone post-war Soviet arsenal refurbishment and remains in overall very good condition. Pre-war Tula production is often noted for its higher level of machining and finish quality prior to the intensified wartime manufacturing pressures of WWII. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
