"Pre-WWI Peter the Great M91 Mosin-Nagant Rifle – 7.62x54R (L2025-11912)

"Serial No. N20713, manufactured in 1913, 7.62x54R, 31½" round barrel. Rifle is in very good overall condition, displaying crisp receiver markings bearing the Imperial Russian double-headed eagle and “Peter the Great" arsenal designation. Serial numbers are non-matching. Metal has developed a pleasing aged patina, while the stock remains very good, showing only light handling marks consistent with careful service. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A handsome and early example of the Imperial M91 Mosin-Nagant, produced on the eve of the First World War under the reign of Tsar Nicholas II. This rifle represents one of the final expressions of Imperial Russian arms production before the fall of the monarchy and the dawn of the Soviet era.
