"Serial no. 9130032261. Manufactured in 1942 at Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R,29"" round barrel. The bore is good with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Factory serial numbers are matching, with the floorplate force-matched during post-war arsenal refurbishment, a common Soviet practice. The left side of the receiver is import marked. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, showing typical signs of Soviet post-war refurbishment and storage. Wartime 1942 Izhevsk production reflects the massive industrial output undertaken by the Soviet Union during the height of WWII. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
