"Serial no. 9130032244. Manufactured in 1942 at Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R,29"" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. The rifle has been post-war arsenal refurbished, reflecting standard Soviet procedures for reconditioning and storage of service rifles. The M91/30 served as the primary Soviet infantry rifle throughout WWII and was produced in vast numbers under wartime conditions. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
