We are offering for a 1923 Izhevsk Mosin Nagant M91/30 bolt action rifle chambered in 7.62x54R caliber. The rifle remains in good, fully functioning condition. It is a MATCHING NUMBERS example. It is missing barrel bands and has some stock alterations noted.
29" barrel is good with scattered wear; Bright bore with crisp rifling. Barrel sights intact; Rear ladder slightly bent. The action is very good with general wear. The crown is marked with the Izhevskmark and dated 1923. Gun functions flawlessly. Original stock is fair to good but has been sanded down at some point; It has been notched behind the nose cap. Closed cracks behind top tang. No barrel bands. Serial numbers match on Crown, Bolt, Trigger Guard and Butt Plate. Buttplate shows moderate wear. Previous owner soldered ramrod to nosecap due to missing barrel bands. With a few spare parts this rifle could be made more complete.
