Description:
Standard configuration Izhevsk Mosin Nagant 91/30 bolt action sniper rifle, import marked with SN R18282, dated 1942 chambered in 7.62x54mmR, with a hooded pin front sight, a tangent rear sight graded 1-20, and a standard undated PU scope marked 91/30, SN ?-95294 having crossbar bracketing a pointed vertical post. The original SN: ??3386 is on all the major components to include: barrel, bolt, floorplate and electropenciled remarked buttplate (previously 938). The barrel was arsenal marked "595294" (above crossed out 04429) to match the scope. The scope mount unmarked. Proof marks scattered through the entire rifle. Cleaning rod present. Complete with tan canvas scope cover and double leather magazine/ammo pouch.
Condition:
VG/EXC as arsenal reworked/redipped with renumbering over crossed-out numbers with restamping and electropenciling. Sl yellowed optics with very sharp reticle. Comparable condition reworked/revarnished stock. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. EXC accessories.
