WWII Soviet Tula Arsenal Mosin-Nagant 91/30 bolt action sniper rifle, import marked with SN R18282, dated 1944, cal. 7.62x54mmR, with a hooded pin front sight, a tangent rear sight graded 1-20, and a PU scope dated 1942, SN: "76147" having crossbar bracketing a pointed vertical post. The original serial number: "??226" is on all the major components to include: barrel, scope mount, bolt, floorplate and buttplate. Standard handguard and stock, the latter with scattered acceptances, several of the markings on the right side of the buttstock having broken through the finish. Cleaning rod present. No accessories.
Condition:
VG/EXC original blued (not black) finish on all components. The scope an earlier date than the rifle with slightly yellowed optics and very sharp reticle. Comparable condition stock with finish losses and scattered handling marks, several acceptances on the right side of the buttstock having broken through the finish. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
