Description:
WWII Soviet Tula Arsenal Mosin-Nagant 91/30 bolt action sniper rifle, import marked with SN R18282, dated 1943, cal. 7.62x54mmR, with a hooded pin front sight, a tangent rear sight graded 1-20, and a standard PU scope marked 91/30, SN ?-158812 having crossbar bracketing a pointed vertical post. The original serial number MK456 is on all the major components to include: barrel, bolt, floorplate and buttplate. The left side of barrel is likely numbered 439394, several numerals difficult to discern. Scope mount with electro-penciled numbering “4403780” and Cyrillic “TH8355”. Standard handguard and stock, the latter with scattered acceptances, most markings on the right side of the reworked buttstock lost. Cleaning rod present. No accessories.
Condition:
VG/EXC as arsenal reworked/redipped. Sl yellowed optics with very sharp reticle. Comparable condition reworked/revarnished stock, the Tula Arsenal star/arrow logo visible, other markings lost. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
