This Russian Tula-manufactured Mosin-Nagant 91/30 sniper rifle, dated 1944, cal. 7.62x54R, is an arsenal rework with a hooded front sight, tangent rear sight, and a PU scope. A significant and no longer importable military firearm from WWII, made during the last year of Tula production!

Description:

Standard configuration Mosin Nagant 91/30 bolt action rifle dated 1944 chambered in 7.62x54mmR, with a hooded pin front sight, a tangent rear sight graded 1-20, and a standard undated PU scope, whose SN is 4322728. Full SN: GM 909 is on the left receiver; other major components with the "909" include barrel, bolt, floorplate, buttplate, and scope mount (electropencilled with "TM 909" and "4322728, the scope SN). Heavily varnished stock with scattered inspection markings whose SN and arsenal markings are not discernible. Complete with accepted cleaning rod.

Condition:

VG+ as arsenal refurbished, now with 99% salt blue finish. Markings on barrel shank and receiver crisp and nicely haloed. EXC original finish scope with a sharp reticle, slightly yellowed optics. VG/VG+ refurbished stock with scattered handling marks, several fresh appearing scrapes on the right side of the buttstock. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics.
