This is a real beauty made in June 1941. The gun has retained about 99.9% of a first class Tula Arsenal rebuild. The receiver and the stock match, the bolt also matches and as usual is electro penciled. There is no rust pits or dinged anywhere. The stock and forearm have also retained about 99.9 of the rebuild. The lower part on the front of the stock does have an Arsenal repair. A area about 1 X 1/2" has a repair. There are no other nicks, splits or dings here either. The ventilated heat shield is perfect. Not a scratch or a dented in anywhere.
The bore is very nice. with smooth lands and well defined rifling with a touch light frost. It comes with one non matching magazine in super condition. These SVT 40s have become very scarce, collectible, a good investment and real fun to shoot.......SHIPPED......$2195.
