The Mossberg 144-LS Model with .22LR only was manufactured from 1963 to 1967. The heavy barrel is 26 inches long. It has Lyman competition aperture sights. It has a bore which is in excellent condition and has a 2-position serrated manual safety. The overall length of the rifle is 43.25 inches, and the length of pull is 13.5 inches. The action functions properly based on visual inspection. The magazine is removeable box. It has a blued finish in fantastic condition with no major wear. It has a one-piece Walnut stock which has a cheek rise and steel butt plate. It has the lower rail with factory forward hand brace and sling swivels. The grip has black plastic finger grooves. The stock is in good condition with only light wear. It comes with one factory magazine. This rifle qualifies as a Curio and Relic and can ship where legally allowed.
