Mossberg Model 42 M ( c ) Bolt Action -  22 LR Rifle - Two piece Mannlicher style pistol grip stock with cheek piece, extended forend with sling swivels and metal butt plate with trap door. 7 round clip style magazine. 23 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight, ramped front sight with 4 - aperatures and a Micro- click receiver peep sight. Bore is clean and bright . Includes bolt shield.  Barrel and receiver are retaining 95% bluing. Note: Stock and forend have been refinished, 20 plus coats of oil hand rubbed, topped with 6 coats of wax. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks.. Super clean restoration . Includes a new soft sleeve. Operates great. Manufactured from 1940 to 1950. This one was manufactured in 1947.  Very nice addition to any collection.
