French Calvalry Dragoon Pistol made 1733-1760 D level, started in 1730 with 15" barrel, 12" barrel 1733, octagon to round and swamped,.most were made with Walnut stocks and the face on the butt cap, it was known as the face.This reproduction has the D level side plate with a face on it and the triggerguard has a face on it. Also stocked in extra fancy Curly Maple witch is much stronger than Walnut. It has a R&R lock, chambers White Lightin Touch Hole Liner.All cast Brass hardware oil finished,Wt.2 lb.15oz.2 1/2 lb. trigger pull,screws are timed, comes with a soft case. 12" swamp barrel smoothbore 62 cal.-20ga. These pistol were used in the French and Indian war and the American Rev.Signed R W C sold by builder.
